As providers of applications for the purpose of school education, we opt to collect the minimum amount of Personally Identifiable Information possible.

We provide users a way to access our applications as a guest user, where they are not asked for any Personally Identifying Information. A user may opt to create an account with their email address, at which time they will also be prompted for their name. Student accounts only have a name attached to them, and are not visible to anyone but an authenticated teacher account. Student names are not required to be the full or accurate name of a student, and teachers can always opt to name their students according to any naming scheme.

When do we collect information?

We collect detailed analytics on user activity through an analytics service, but this information is anonymized. We also collect information about email addresses and names during the account creation process.

How do we use your information?

We use the information we collect to send transaction emails, welcome emails, and in the case of student accounts, login to our service. We provide an easy opt-out procedure from your user account.

How do we protect visitor information?

We only provide articles and information. We never ask for personal or private information like your name, email address, or credit card numbers, to access any part of the site. You may voluntarily submit your email address to us for the aforementioned purpose of periodic emails, but we do not require your email for any part of our website. When we collect your email, it is securely stored in a third-party email list management service, and never shared with any third party.

Do we use cookies?

We do not use cookies for tracking purposes.

Payment, Refunds, Upgrading, Downgrading, and Cancellation Terms

This section addresses our payment terms for the classroom feature (the "Service").

1. The Service is offered with a free trial. Once that trial is up, you will only be able to continue using the Service by paying in advance for additional usage. If you fail to pay for additional usage, your Service will be frozen and inaccessible until payment is made.
2. While you may not be required to enter your billing information in order to sign up for the Free Trial Period, you may provide such information at any point during the Free Trial Period. If you do so, you will be charged immediately and the Free Trial will end.
3. Any upgrade or downgrade in plan level will result in the new rate being charged immediately. There will be no prorating for downgrades in between billing cycles.
4. If you cancel the Service before the end of your current paid up month, your cancellation will take effect at the end of the billing cycle.
5. Downgrading your Service may cause the loss of features or capacity of your account. The Company does not accept any liability for such loss.
6. You are solely responsible for properly canceling your subscription. An email or phone request to cancel your account is not considered cancellation. You can cancel your subscription by clicking the “Subscribed” button in your classroom and clicking “cancel”.
